I was born on 20 th of august 1962.

After school I started in december 1980 at the Belgium Raiway Company. In 1991 I made a career switch and went to the Brussels Police Academy and after graduating I started as policeman at the railwaystation in Ostend.

From 1992 till 1999 I worked at that railwaystation for the railway police

In 1999 Belgian law changed and I worked then for the Gendarmerie till 2001 , when again the law changed and I worked then for the Federal Police departement of the Railway Police at Ghent station.

There I worked together with my boss chief inspector Eric Daeze and Dirk Ampe. 

In 2013 there was the opportunity to go work at Brussels Railway police for the human trafficking team together with Dirk Ampe and David Caerts.

In 2020 our new Chief Commissioner wanted a new team Info and Intelligence, what we started up for him. 

In 2023 was my last career shift and I started to work as border guard at the Channel Terminal in Brussels South Station.
